There are several ways in which businesses can access the expertise and equipment at the Labs. Amongst our staff and volunteers we have experts in many aspects of small-scale fabrication, including graphic design, laser cutting, 3D design and CAD, and 3D printing and CNC milling.
Business users can contract us to deliver tailored workshops, hire our machines, attend our professional development classes, commission our designers for 3D modelling and graphic design, or hire out the whole Lab for company innovation or staff professional development days. We can also handle small-scale fabrication jobs. While Mastering Digital Fabrication is a for-profit organisation we are also a hub for training and making in the new emerging field of digital and personalised manufacturing for local communities, Schools and Business so, any surplus generated from business activities gets put towards making our services and equipment even better for our customers and community.
We have developed comprehensive learning programs in the area of "Digital fabrication" and "Internet of thing (IoT)", to provide our stake holders with the knowledge and know how! to successfully bring their creation to live.
